In his wickedly entertaining style, professional
speaker, author, and adventurer John Beede
has been struck by lightning, attacked by a
5-foot iguana, swam with a whale shark, nearly
fell 800 feet to his death, and once did the
hokey-pokey in the eye of a hurricane. John’s
recent climb to the summit of Mount Everest,
Earth’s highest mountain, was featured on TV’s
60 Minutes
.
Since graduating from Wheaton College with
a bachelor’s degree in communications, he
has built and sold multiple companies while
he’s traveled to 46 countries on 6 continents.
He has instructed rock climbing, white-
water rafting, wilderness survival, sailing,
mountaineering, and has participated in
dozens of expeditions and adventures around
the world.
